Key Ingredients are committed to making food ingredients better and minimising our impact on the environment.
In July 2022 we invested €96,000 on a 92.82 kW PV solar system. We installed two invertors and 220 X 420 W solar panels on the roof of our factory.
During the summer we use very little electricity from the grid just our own generated solar electricity.
We have three electric company cars since January 2021. These are Kia Niros, which are charged regularly using the electricity from our solar panels thus replacing diesel cars.
